My name is Angello Lazar and I am a student at New York University studying Economics and Computer Science. Alongside being a student, I am a creative that can code and design who strives to give clients a specific solution to fit their needs.
While I enjoy keeping myself busy, I try to take time to develop a unique product and account for all intricate details for each project. My works have been shown on Bloomburg’s business week and smaller news outlets as well.
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1999, but was raised in a Romanian household. From an early point in my childhood, I was hooked onto sports and gaming. Growing up, I did a myriad of extra curricular activities outside of school including soccer, swimming, symphonic band (Trumpet and Piano), chess club, debate team, and even began a motor club at my school for other motor vehicle enthusiasts. However, my main focus was on soccer, because, being Romanian, soccer was in my blood. I had the opportunity to play for US National team at a young age.
In general, I clearly like to keep myself busy. When I wasn't studying, playing sports, or practicing instruments, I was either working construction with my father or playing video games. I began to enjoy hacking various video games because it was so much easier than actually gradually progressing through a game. But, I lost the ability to play these time-consuming games as I got to highschool due to working and focusing on playing soccer in college.
Fortunately, I had the opportunity to play soccer at New York University which leads me where I am today. My first year there, my roommate was an absolute genius developer and he convinced me to learn to code. I self-taught myself various programming languages (with the motivation of my roommate of course) and started to do miniscule projects for him. Through that, I quickly learned that this may be something that I want to do full-time, but I wanted to add a hint of creativity... I realized that this is why I lean towards front-end development - so I can create.
Apart from my academic and professional career, I still enjoy being active, playing instruments, and try to travel as much as fiscally possible.
Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort. - Franklin D. Roosevelt
